As this is an oil painting, it will be ready to be shipped in approximately six weeks as drying times and varnishing times vary. Your purchase includes a certificate of authenticity. This painting can be hung as it is, as this studio-depth canvas of 4.5 centimetres is fully wrap-painted: the painting carries on over the sides of the canvas. 

 

Your artwork will be sent fully insured with a tracking number provided to you. All duties and customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Sara assumes no responsibility for any customs fees incurred. Please contact your local customs website to calculate these amounts.

Sara will communicate the type of shipping available for your painting, either tubed or flat box shipping:

Tubed shipping: This is the preferred method for shipping larger works of art. Your painting will be safely removed from the stretcher bar, the stretcher bar dismantled, and the painting rolled with craft paper and stowed in a study tube. The tube and stretcher bars together make up the package, packed with cushioning and strong cardboard surround. Upon arrival, you can take the painting to your local frame shop and they can easily re-stretch it for you, or you can also do it yourself. Learn more here. 

Boxed shipping: Your painting will be wrapped in glissine paper, then craft paper, then packing paper. It will be wrapped again in corrugated cushioning cardboard. Finally, the painting is boxed with crumpled packing paper and a sturdy outer cardboard box.

Sara wants you to absolutely love your artwork. Great care is taken to ensure colour correctness in the photographs, but screen displays do vary. Please contact Sara for more photos if you need help ensuring the artwork is right for you. Sara is able to process returns within the EU, with the artwork in its original packaging. Return postage is the responsibility of the buyer. Returns are unfortunately not possible outside of the EU at this time.
